Potato chips is famous for its delicious, crispy taste and rich nutrition in Europe and the United States. It becomes one of the main popular leisure food for decades. But how to produce potato chips,please follow my introduction,There are six main steps of potato chips producing line.

Step 1: Preparation
Washing and peeling is the first step. Potatoes are de-stoned and washed in the de-stoner remove stones and other dregs, sludges. The washed potatoes are clean enough to further process . The peeler peel the potatoes gently with an even and accurate result

Step 2: Slice washing
The potato slices rinsing machine is used for blanching products of slices, strips, cubes of any root vegetables like potatoes, carrots etc. Uniform heat transfer and controlled temperature & time. wash out the starch on the surface of potatoes and avoids the potato chips sticking. The main purpose for blanching is to ensure a potato chips a bright color and crispy.

The blanching temperature and time can be adjusted based on the processing capacity.The formula should be added during blanching process, suitable blanching temperature is 70℃ and blanching time is 7-15 minutes.

Step 3:Dewatering
The dewatering step is to help reduce moisture and make them easy to fry.. The dewatered potato strips are low in moisture and easy to fry. Our potato chips dewatering machine adopts the centrifugal principle, through the fast rotating barrel to remove the chips surface water.

Step 4: Multi-zone frying
The critical phase in the potato chip process is the frying phase. With controlled oil flows and multi-zone design, the frying system will be frying the potato slices to perfect texture, bite and color. The edible oil temperature should be around 180℃,Frying time for potato strips and potato chips is respectively 6/3 minutes; when the potato chips become golden and soft, they should be fished out. the automatic potato chips frying machine adopts indirect oil heating and less oil in the system for good oil quality and better oil management.

Step 5:De-oiling and flavoring
The potato chips de-oiling will make the fried food crispier and more palatable. and then the following is flavoring,customers can season diversified flavors totally according to their own intentions.

Step 6:packing potato chips
The last step is to pack potato chips with vacuum packing machine. Vacuum nitrogen packaging machine is ready here to ensure the high efficient packing. As fried potato chips are fragile, the nitrogen is necessary to keep food fresh, tasty and without damage.
